  4. Debbie,
It has only been a few days. This just feels like a nightmare that I need to wake up from. You said you were going to be ok, and that it wasn’t your time. I believed you. I can’t believe you are gone. I keep thinking you are still here with us. I want to go out to lunch, or a movie, or just sit with you in the backyard. My heart is broken like nothing I have ever experienced. I don’t want to get used to living without you sister.
Please remain close to me and let me feel your presence. I love you so much.
    Diane

  7. dearest cousin Debbie,
I will miss you. You fought hard and had the best attitude during this time.
A life well lived is better then a long life not well lived. I know you loved your work and your sincere concern for the children you worked with. Your sweet smile and ready ability to have a good laugh! I have fond childhood memories of some of our family get togethers. God speed.

  9. Debbie,
I will always remember our heart to heart talks and the laughter we shared in your office. You were such a good listener when talking about students we had in common or family matters.. yes we had serious talks but we probably laughed 90 percent of the time. I will always remember the many good times we had ;including that memorable horseback riding outing and the many times we made each other laugh with silly texts or pictures or Seinfeld episodes! I already miss you but I will hold on to the good memories, and please once in a while … just give me some kind of sign girl 🎼 RIP my dear friend 💕

  10. Ms. Nevarez,
Im lost in words and truly going to miss you sooo much this feels unreal. You where like a mom to me back when I was in middle school. I’m so grateful God put you in my path 6 years ago. Thanks to you I continue on middle school and graduate high school and got into a 4 year university. Thank you for always being there on days I really needed it and always tell me “ iris everything is going to be okay”. I remember the last time we talk we discuss me graduating college in 3 years and how I was looking forward for you to be present when I got my bachelors but I know you be watching me from heaven. Love you forever. Sending my thoughts and prayers to the family.

  12. Dearest Mary,
Marilyn and I, Richard have so many fond memories from the very time that Debbie was born to all the times we got together when we spent our Christmases in Whittier, even having traditional tamales on Christmas Eve with Tio and Tia. What we remember about Debbie is she was always cheerful, sweet, loving and kind, we enjoyed being around her, and all your children for that matter.
We’re so thankful that she put her faith and trust in Christ Jesus for her salvation, and because of that we will someday all who have trusted Jesus in saving faith have a great reunion with her throughout eternity, it’s only goodbye for now until we see her again face-to-face and will all rejoice together as loved ones in the presence of our Blessed Lord and Savior Jesus. Love you Debbie, see you later.
